Power was an American Power Metal band from New Jersey which formed back in 1992 by guitarist-Daniel L. Dalley. Daniel Dalley chose the name Power to represent and stand for the Power of God. After having chosen his moniker, Dalley began realizing his project as he started searching for members to fill the band's roster. Dalley contacted vocalist-Alan Tecchio who is known for his work with bands like Watchtower, Non-Fiction, and Jack Frost. Tecchio promptly joined the group and they began looking for a percussionist to keep time for the band. It wasn't long before Dalley narrowed their search to Thrash Metal drummer-Mike Watt who had previously worked with the band 'System Addict'. Not long after being contacted, Mike came on board completing the NJ based Power Metal trio.
In 1994, just 2 years after the band's conception, Power stepped into Trax East Studios of New Jersey to begin work on their debut album.

In 1994 Power released their full-length debut album titled 'Justice Of Fire' on Rock The Nations Records. The band's debut was Produced by founder-Daniel L. Dalley and Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music New Windsor, NY. 'Justice Of Fire' is one of those albums that quickly captures the listener's attention through intense Metal arrangements, soaring vocals, memorial guitar play, and poundin' drum lines.
When taking into consideration the album's cover art, without question, the art could of used a little more creativity to say the least. However, in its defense, the art work is effective in illustrating the meaning behind the album's title track-'Justice Of Fire'.
Their debut release includes 9-tracks with a total running time of almost 40 minutes. The track-list for 'Justice Of Fire' includes 1.Prelude To Apocalypse(Instrumental) 2.Hands Over Time 3.Firewalk 4.Rising Son(Through The Eyes Of God) 5.An Evil Presence(Instrumental) 6.Deceiver Of Truth 7.The Vision 8.Justice Of Fire 9.Eternally(Instrumental).
In 1995 Power released a "Japan edition" of their original debut album on Sony Records. This release features the band's original 9-tracks along with 2 additional bonus tracks added at the end of the album - "Above & Beyond"(Instrumental) and "Burning Desire"(Instrumental). With these 2 added bonus tracks, their "Japan edition" has a total running time of over 50 minutes.

Guitarist-Daniel L. Dalley(ChamberCrypt) makes his mark on Power's debut release giving the listener plenty of tasty licks to enjoy. Throughout this recording, Dalley is found unleashing a barrage of heavy Power Metal riffs coupled with 90's era noodling. From track to track Dalley has strategically placed a number of memorial solos. If that wasn't enough, Dalley has gone the extra mile and has included 5 different instrumental tracks dedicated to featuring his prowess behind the electric guitar. The 5 different instrumental tracks include track-1 "Prelude To Apocalypse", track-5 "An Evil Presence", and track-9 "Eternally", track-10 "Above & Beyond" and track-11 "Burning Desire".
The album's lyrics are more on the subtle side in nature yet there are some
truths to be discovered. According to Daniel - "the album is about the "end of days"
and the warning of the judgments of mankind". From track to track one will find
themes like the condition of sinful mankind, the need for repentance,
salvation, deception vs the truth, eschatology, and judgement.

"Firewalk"
Innate within the souls of man
Brought to death cry out for help
Carry sin on, the voice will say
Walk the fire, we are led today
From the lips of the eternal force
Turn your heads, you have been warned
Now!
"Rising Son (Through the Eyes of God)"
Passages from time we know
Turned our heads in our biggest mistake
Calling to you can't you hear
A warning now we must not forsake
Son rise forth, to me, see
Through the eyes of God
In time you'll know, see
Through the eyes of God
"Deceiver Of Truth"
(Lies) children gather, I will show you the way
Self-fulfilling needs, not be estranged
Give to me your trust, don't be afraid
I am the chosen one for you I'll not betray
All I need from you are these things
Your eyes and ears but above all apostasy
(Truth) Beware of a false preaching faith
deceiver of truth he will take your life
A world in fear you fools believed
Now your death Is so easy to see
Through the mist, blackened ships
Sail to the shore
From the eternal sea we ignore
Proclaiming life but delivering death
Having seen and turned our backs
We shall regret
"The Vision"
In the midst of pain, sorrow and death
A tenth King, reigns of peace it is said
Not since the days of ancient disbelief
Has a King suffered all humanity
Father breath your fire from the stars
Extinguish disbelief, within our hearts
A distant voice is calling out for you
In a dream the vision is canting true
"Justice Of Fire"
Having Cursed upon the words I say
Desecrate the path I pave
Cleansing of your soul now you will pay
Purified in a sea of flames
Innate within the souls of man
Brought to death cry out for help
Carry sin on, the voice will say
