Headstone 118 is a Hard Rock band from Pennsylvania which formed back in 2000 by vocalist-Jeremy Rohrbach & drummer-Mark Lackman. The group was originally known as 'Metamorphis' but, after a few changes to their line-up, decided that it was time to change the band's name as well. The band chose the moniker 'Headstone 118' which was taken from Psalms 118:22 "The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner". In 2007 bassist/keyboardist-Bill Dilks was added to the group completing this 3-piece outfit from the Keystone State.
Headstone 118 is an independent band who garnered recognition when they were selected as the National GMC & Roland Music fan favorite winner in the 2012 GMC Power Weekend contest.

In 2012, Headstone 118 released their independent full-length album titled 'Left Behind'. The idea behind the album's title is taken from biblical eschatology as found in Mathew 24:40 "Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left". The album's cover art is symbolic imagery of what we find in the scriptures: John 10:27-28 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand."
This 2012 release quickly draws the listener in with solid vocal work from frontman-Jeremy Rohrbach along with infectious groove based riffs making this Hard Rock offering a desirable release to say the least.

There are a few tracks that stand out on this recording including track-9 "Supersticious Ways" which draws one in with its Doom influences, having a sound similar to that of 'Place of Skulls'. Then there's the title track "Left Behind" which opens with some sick tribal beats similar to the arrangements found in the song "Horror and Sadness" by Grave Forsaken.
Lead Vocalist-Jeremy Rohrbach has a lower end register that can be compared to other vocalists like Scott Stapp(Creed), or even Eddie Moles(Bone Prophet). In addition, Jeremy also handles Guitars for the band delivering up a wide array of differing guitar styles.
Bassist-Bill Dilks lays down some heavy bass lines while drummer-Mark Lackman keeps time for the band delivering up a Rock feast.

Lyrics are overtly Christ centered as one can see in the following excerpts:
"I Believe"
I believe that you freed them from slavery, I believe that you parted the red sea, I believe that you watch us and guide us through! I believe that it rained for all 40, and it flooded the earth, yeah I believe, I believe
And when you say you can trust in me, I will trust in you, and when your word says the things that you do, I believe its true, and when you say have faith in me, I can move mountains too, and when you say come follow me, I will follow you!
I believe that you healed them from leprosy, I believe that you made lame to walk again, I believe that you feed the 5000, I believe that you made wine from water, I believe that you died on the cross and that you rose again, you rose again!
When you say you can trust in me, I will trust in you, and when your word says the things that you do, I believe its true, and when you say have faith in me, I can make mountains move, and when you say come follow me, I will follow you
"No Compromise"
you entice them with lies, heard the peoples cries.
said if we made you the man, you"d bring CHANGE to our land, took God outta school, you cant remove God you fool.take Him off our $change ?now your releasing my rage.
-chorus-you keep wastin my time you keep wastin my life.
you keep wastin my time but we wont com pro mise !
you try to make us your tools, to bring you power to abuse.keep on changin the rule, goin to hell for satans muse.take away our guns, and our rights one by one.
they"ll never understand,we need a revolution in this land.
a fetus don,t have a right,they say that it aint a life.
but from the time you conceive, its a child inside I believe !
