Have you ever wondered what would happen if you took a little Def Leppard, a touch of Dream Theater, & a pinch of Skid Row and mix them all together? Well, what you get is a fiery concoction that's exploding onto the Christian Metal scene calling themselves Deth Enemy. These guys sound as if they stepped right out of a time machine from the 80's Arena Rock scene ready to take back this world for Christ.
'Deth Enemy' hales from Queensland, Australia and formed back in 2011 by brothers Al Caiulo (Vocals) and Frank Caiulo(Drums). Bassist-S T Morrison soon followed suit and joined completing this Aussie band. Deth Enemy isn't the first Christian Metal band to come from the land down under, as we find some hard hitters like Paramaecium, Mortification, & Grave Forsaken all calling Australia home as well.

Some words of wisdom from the band:
"The way the world around us is getting out of control man, we need a Light that will show us the way out of the darkness. The message is all about life love and hope If your feeling down don't cross over to the dark side of the blues. life is one heck of a journey, and it doesn't end here. We're throwing
the hope rope out to a society swimming in ruins. In God we Rock"

In 2015, Deth Enemy released their debut full-length album titled 'Unmovable' on Big Sky Song Records. Their debut was produced by Tom E. Morrison and after just one listen, the band quickly wraps one up in a web of hook driven musical arrangements to where one is locked in. However, as you continue listening, you find that you don't want to escape as you hit the repeat button over and over again.
How do you take a genre style of music that the Devil was and is still using today, and use it for God's glory?Deth Enemy answers this question with the following statement: "Strip the sin back from the sound like paint thinner, black being bleached back to white, dark dripping away to light, the sublime of the Hard Rock mainstays' sound still intact."
Frontman Al Caiulo's delivery can be compared to such well known Vocalists as Joe Elliott(Def Leppard) and Matt Fallon/Sebastian Bach(Skid Row). One thing very evident is Caiulo's ability to reach some sick haunting notes in the upper regions. Al Caiulo keeps things interesting with an unpredictable vocal approach and hooks galore.
Guitars are handled by lead Vocalist-Al Caiulo who delivers up a Metal feast with his 80's inspired techniques. The skins are tamed by Drummer-Frank Caiulo who plays more in an epic, over-the-top Arena Rock style. The band's heaviness is held in place by anchor Bassist-S T Morrison who completes the band's sound with his punishing Bass lines.
When it comes to the lyrics on 'Unmovable', we discover a whole broad range of topics from warnings, to dealing with the loss of a loved one, to Jesus' work on the cross. In track-1 "Call Of The Devil" we find a loud n clear warning about the Devil and his mark 666. The bible also warns us of taking the mark or the name of the beast:
Revelations 13:16-18
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Track-2 "One Thousand Years" speaks about the return of Jesus and the millennial reign of Christ and His bride. Track-3 "Wicked World" is a call to repentance to a wicked world. Track-4 "When An Angel Falls" is refering to when a loved one passes away.
The following statement by Death Enemy will better help you understand the meaning to the song "When An Angel Falls": "The tune was dedicated to our 14 yr old nephew who passed away recently ..For some strange reason that's missing in the script ...no doubt Kaleb will be playing in heaven and watching over you guys every day ....the hardest thing in life to come to terms with and understand is when an Angel is taken too soon ....Nothing more precious on this earth than a child."
Track-5 "Dark Side Of The Blues" is another track calling one to repent and trust in Jesus. Track-6 "The Hammer" Is a warning about the return of God and then it will be too late to believe as the hammer falls and all will be judged. Track-7 "Disciple" is a tune calling us to hit the streets and disciple people by teaching them the word of God and telling them that there's only one way to heaven and that's through Jesus the Messiah. Track-8 "Devil's Playground" speaks of how this world is where the Devil roams around and is always seeking someone to devour leaving in his path only destruction. Track-9 "I Believe In Angels" doesn't mean that the band has placed their faith in angels to save them but that they believe there are angels that watch over us just like our Rock- Jesus does. Track-10 "Eternally Blessed" we find that we have the Holy Spirit in us who seals us eternally till Jesus returns. The following verse shows that nothing can separate us from the Father because we are "Eternaly Blessed":
Romans 8:35-38
35 Who shall separate us from the love 17 of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Nothing can sever us from his love
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Track-11 "Ordinary People" speaks of how we live in a messes up world that only Jesus can fix. Track-12 "Crucifier" speaks of the Crucifixion of Jesus on the cross where he died for you and me. Track-13 "Open Your Heart" speaks of the ultimate sacrifice and the key to an open door with Jesus being that door & key.
Lyrics are openly Christ centered throughout this album as you can see here:
