Behold The Beloved is a Rock band from Manheim, PA that was formed in 2013 by Sean Green(vocalist) & Jeff Lehman (guitarist). Back in 2013, both Sean & Jeff were originally in a band called 'Beyond The Call'. However, within that same year, 'Beyond The Call' had run its course with all members going their separate ways. It was at that time when Sean & Jeff decided to form a new band called 'Behold The Beloved'. They took the idea for their band's moniker from biblical text found in Matthew 3:16-17 "When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
After the band's conception, both Sean & Jeff embarked on the arduous task of finding musicians to fill the group's roster. First, they contacted drummer-Sheldon Stauffer who quickly came on board as the band's percussionist. With Sheldon having joined the band, they then discovered his brother Jason Stauffer who plays the electric guitar. They were already looking for a second guitarist and quickly added Jason to the roster. With 4-members already on their roster, BTB still needed to fill the bass guitar position. It wasn't long before Sean & Jeff contacted bassist-Tim Kitchen who promptly joined the group completing the band's line-up.
Now with a complete band, Behold The Beloved got to work on material for a debut offering. In 2017 the band released their debut 5-track EP recording titled 'Sing It Loud'. With the release of their EP recording, the band made their presence known in the Rock music scene allowing them to begin building a much needed fan base. Over the next 2 years, Behold The Beloved stepped back into the studio to record a full-length project. In 2019 the band released their follow-up full-length studio album titled 'Saints Wear White'. With this 2019 release, the band started coming into their own with a heavier Rock edge and establishing their own signature sound. 'Saints Wear White' was a solid offering by this Pennsylvania base 5-piece outfit.

After the release of their sophomore album, the band, once again, darkened the doors at Thornwall Studios to begin work on new material for a second full-length album.
2022
In 2022 Behold The Beloved released their second full-length album - their 3rd studio recording titled 'No Surrender' on an indie label. This latest release was recorded & mixed by Thornwall Studios and then Mastered by Jeff Mckinnon. On this recording, the production is tight much like that of the band's sophomore release. 'No Surrender' find the band firing on all cylinders with solid vocals by Sean, tasty guitar licks by Lehman & Stauffer, punchy bass lines by Kitchen, and poundin' drums by Sheldon.
Sean Green is the band's frontman and throughout this project we find him singing in the mid to upper ranges and occasionally adding a slight raspiness to his delivery. If I had to compare Sean Green to another artist then I would probably say that his vocal delivery is not unlike that of vocalist-Joseph Rojas(Seventh Day Slumber).

The guitar section is comprised of duo guitar team Jeff Lehman & Jason Stauffer. Throughout this release, both Lehman & Stauffer deliver up an electrifying performance helping to draw the listener into the band's arrangements. One thing that stands out on this release is the guitar featured intros on songs like "Uncaged", "Playing With Fire", and "Come Alive". These electrifying intros immediately capture the listener's attention. Hopefully we will see even more of this in the future along with a healthy dose of additional killer solos throughout the songs.
