EchoSoul is a Heavy Metal band that formed back in 2019 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. EchoSoul is the brainchild of guitarist/songwriter-Guy Hinton who along with percussionist-Chris Martinez were both previously part of a band called 'Apparition'. Over the years, various band members of 'Apparition' began to pursue other ventures leaving just Guy & Chris as the remaining members. With renewed motivation, both Guy and Chris decided that it was time to form a new group and after much deliberation, they chose the band name 'EchoSoul'. The inspiration for the idea behind the band's moniker was taken from a line by Russell Crowe from the movie 'Gladiator' which states: “What we do in life Echoes into Eternity”. Guy Hinton: "I couldn’t get echos out of my head and I thought of thousands of variations on paper, but most of what I write is about the mind, soul, and life in itself, and Soul made complete sense and the logo in my head was stuck as well."
After having chosen a moniker, Guy quickly got to work and took some of the material that he wrote 15 years ago and married it with new lyrics and arrangements to form the band's present day sound.

Members of EchoSoul draw inspiration for their sound from bands like Nevermore, Dream Theater, Primal Fear, Iced earth, Queensryche, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Opeth, and Mors Principium Est.
EchoSoul's mission is to make the best Metal possible and to bring light into darkness.
In 2020 EchoSoul released their debut full-length 7-track album titled 'The End Of Darkness' on an independent label. Even though this release only features 7-tracks it's still considered a full-length album with 5 different tracks clocking in at well over 5-minutes, a 4-minute track, along with track-7 which clocks in at over 10-minutes giving us a total of 43 minutes of unrelentin' fist poundin' Metal action. 'The End Of Darkness' is a supergroup project managed by Guy Hinton who collaborated with a number of professional artist, from all over, to bring this album to fruition. This all-star group is comprised of guitarist-Guy Hinton, lead vocalist-Tim“Ripper”Owens(Tourniquet, Judas Priest, Iced Earth), lead vocalist-Rob Lundgren(Reveal, Mentalist), and guitarist-Garrett Peters(Cage, Climhazzard) just to mention a few.
On this debut release you will find that the vocal work is top of the line with each vocalist digging deep to deliver all the right hooks keeping the listener returning for more. The guitar section offers everything from Heavy Metal to Power Metal techniques all lightly seasoned with with some Thrash Metal riffs for all you moshers out there.
Concerning the album's title, Guy Hinton had the following to say: "The title is 'The End of Darkness'....as to be an end to whatever we see that is dark or evil. The album's title is based really off the song feeling as a whole. They all deal with real spiritual and mental battles whether in war or life, and the biggest with "Hangman". To me, Jesus has Victory over Darkness and I say that unashamedly. I wrote it in a way that secular readers would maybe draw interest from a different perspective and maybe look up the story itself."

The band's lyrics are written about life in its deepest forms, from the clutches of
depression & defeat, to the jaws of war & victory. Each song is drawn from something real and experienced.
Guy Hinton states: "I’m a Christian, and you will find that in my lyrics in places, but the goal
was not to make Christian music but juts best possible Metal and being true to roots
and hopefully not holding any door closed."

"Hangman (A Roman And The Cross)"
It Was my Nails that were hammered into His hands and feet
And I watched as He suffered on the cross in the desert heat
In His last breath, I heard Him speak to His Father above
His kingdom is not of this world, and His life was being given for us
Oooh, oooh
Oooh, oooh
Time is fleeting now, just a little longer, ohh
As each moment passes, the storms become stronger, ohh
Was this the king? Was he not the prophesied one?
What if they are wrong? Then what have we done?
I pierced my spear into His side, to make sure He's not alive
From Him, living water fell like rain, I will never be the same
"Melody Of Misery"
These demons, they creep in. They want me to hear their song
They don't have, no power. So, I just shut them off
My weakness, it's depleting. It wants to take me down
But it shows me, where i've been. Once was lost, now I'm found!
"Crucible Of War"
Marching side by side with my brothers in arms
Through thick and thin. From dusk until dawn
You'll not believe what we have achieved
In the pursuit of the glory
Baptized through fire, It's freedom we desire
Dying to live is part of our story
"Where Echoes Go"
With a will to live and way to shine
There's still roots at your feet that hold you back in time
The scales in your eyes and the stones in your heart
They need to be cut down and ripped right apart!!!!
